Welcome to Alura, operated and managed by NEXO (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “Customer”) and NEXO governing your access to and use of the Alura website, associated social media platforms, and any products, services, and features offered through them (collectively, the “Services”).

By visiting our website, purchasing products, or using our Services in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.




1. Definitions

For clarity, the following terms have the meanings indicated:

  • Website: The Alura e-commerce website and all related domains, subdomains, and platforms owned or operated by NEXO.
  • Products: Alum soap and any other goods listed for sale on our Website.
  • Supplier: Any third-party manufacturer, wholesaler, or fulfillment partner used to produce, package, and ship our Products.
  • Order: Any request or purchase of Products by you via our Website.
  • Account: A user profile created on our Website to facilitate purchasing, order tracking, and communications.




2. Acceptance of Terms

2.1 By using the Website or purchasing Products, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account at our sole discretion if we suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.




4. Product Information and Availability

4.1 We strive to ensure all information about our Products (descriptions, ingredients, images, dimensions, prices, etc.) is accurate. However, minor variations may occur due to manufacturing processes or display differences.
4.2 Our alum soaps are white in color, handcrafted by third-party suppliers, and may have slight size or shape variations due to natural production methods.
4.3 Availability of Products is subject to change without notice. We may limit quantities or discontinue Products at any time.




5. Ordering Process

5.1 Orders are placed via the Website by adding Products to your shopping cart and completing checkout.
5.2 You must review your Order carefully before submission. By placing an Order, you confirm that all information (name, shipping address, payment details) is accurate.
5.3 Once submitted, an Order cannot be canceled or modified unless we agree in writing.
5.4 An Order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide. This confirms we received your Order, but does not constitute acceptance.
5.5 We reserve the right to decline or cancel any Order for any reason, including suspected fraud, payment issues, or unavailability of stock.




6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
6.2 Prices do not include shipping charges, handling fees, taxes, or duties unless expressly stated. These will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
6.3 Payment is due in full at the time you place your Order. Accepted payment methods are listed on the Website.
6.4 By submitting your payment information, you authorize us (and our third-party payment processors) to charge your payment method for the total amount of your Order.
6.5 If your payment is declined, we may cancel your Order without further notice.




7. Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Alura operates on a dropshipping model. We do not hold inventory; Orders are forwarded to our Supplier for production and shipping.
7.2 Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days and shipped within 5–15 business days, depending on destination and Supplier capacity.
7.3 Delivery times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.
7.4 You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. We are not responsible for lost or delayed shipments due to incorrect addresses.
7.5 Once your Order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.




8. International Shipping, Duties & Taxes

8.1 If you order Products from outside the United States, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by your local government.
8.2 We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by customs processing or refusal to clear goods.




9. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

9.1 For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns of opened or used soap bars.
9.2 If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide clear photo evidence.
9.3 If your claim is approved, we will offer either:

  • A replacement item shipped at no additional cost; or
  • A full or partial refund to your original payment method.
    9.4 We may ask you to return the defective item before issuing a refund or replacement. You are responsible for returning it safely.
    9.5 Refunds, if issued, will appear on your payment method within 5–10 business days.




10. Product Safety and Allergies

10.1 Our alum soaps are formulated for external use only.
10.2 Conduct a patch test before first use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
10.3 We are not liable for any allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or other adverse effects caused by use or misuse of our Products.
10.4 Alura makes no medical or therapeutic claims. Individual results may vary.




11. Intellectual Property Rights

11.1 All content on the Website — including logos, trademarks, brand names, text, images, designs, packaging, layouts, and code — are owned by or licensed to NEXO.
11.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works of any content without our prior written consent.
11.3 Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.




12. User Conduct

12.1 You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful, abusive, or disruptive purpose.

17. Force Majeure

17.1 We are not responsible or liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, war, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or government actions.




18. Dispute Resolution

18.1 Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good faith negotiations.
18.2 If not resolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the
American Arbitration Association (AAA) in New York, USA.
18.3 You waive the right to participate in class actions or jury trials against NEXO.




19. Governing Law

19.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
19.2 Any legal actions must be brought exclusively in the courts of
New York, USA.




20. Severability

20.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.




21. Entire Agreement

21.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and NEXO regarding the Alura brand and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether oral or written.
